After completing UYP, with support from The Canadian Poverty institute we then started a project to co-develop an anti racism toolkit. In order to do this, we had support from Dr. Rita Yembila and Dr Nketti Johnson-Taylor who introduced us to the concept of Cultural Capital Building For Anti Racism (CC4AR).

The participants in the program learned about racism and identified areas where the community could benefit from capacity building. For each of the topics we had a subject matter expert come talk to the participants.  These discussions became the backbone of our toolkit.

We subsequently studied how to relay this information to other people in the community that were not able to attend the sessions.
